I made this princess castle cake for my daughters 5th birthday. The bottom layer is a 10 inch square vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream filling. It's iced in buttercream and decorated with fondant accents.The top layer is a 6 inch round chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling. The pillars are made out of fondant and topped with sugar cones.
